My 9 years of freelance experience is mostly rooted in documentary work. I produce intentional and specialized media that has included a combination of motion graphics, visual effects, color correction, and industry-standard film/video editing and photography. Notable non-profits I had the pleasure working with are the National Black Arts, the Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), and the Absolom Jones Episcopal Center for Racial Healing. Graduating from San Diego City College and Clark Atlanta University has allowed me to contextualize the culture of American history and create with a humanistic approach to this kind of digital work, rather than commodifying it.
My credibility has been built through my authenticity to translate messages to audiences unaware of what develops underneath the surface. Having an eye for smaller details has allowed me to shed light on distinct narratives. But that's just me.
I Currently live in Mexico City on assignment to dismantle the arts and culture in order to portray its deeper significance that contrasts  the oversimplified stereotypes the American gaze has constructed.
